It's definitely, as the maker says, a haptic device: able to generate several pounds of force. I'm a big fan of arcade shooters with a lot of recoil (operation wolf, LA machineguns, etc) The added recoil really adds immersion. It can be used for all sorts of games, but I normally use it for FPS. The falcon is a great way to add that immersion to PC games. You could call it a force feedback device, but that doesn't really do it justice. Which is good that most of the upcoming haptic supported games will be shooters. This is a great peripheral and a ton of fun to play.
